Orange peel and aromatic bitters give a distinctly exotic flavor to this popular island coffee. From "Caribbean Cooking".

  •   4 c
    hot coffee
  •   1/4 c
    thinly sliced orange peel
  •   1
    orange, peeled and sliced
  •   1 Tbsp
  •   1 tsp
    aromatic bitters
  •   1/2 c
    whipping cream, whipped

How To Make

    Measure coffee into a flameproof glass pot. Add orange peel and orange slices, steeping over low heat 15 minutes.
  • 2
    Add sugar and bitters, then strain and pour into warmed heatproof glasses.

    Top with whipped cream.
