  • - grand marnier
  • - sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon superfine sugar
  • 1 1/2 ounces jameson's irish whiskey
  • - freshly brewed coffee
  • - whipped cream
  • - bailey's irish cream
  • - ghiradelli chocolate

How To Make brick alley pub and restaurant irish coffee

  • Step 1
    Dip the rim of an Irish coffee cup 1/4 inch deep in a shallow saucer of Grand Marnier liqueur.
  • Step 2
    Dip the rim into a saucer of granulated sugar.
  • Step 3
    Caramelize the sugar on the rim of the glass over an open flame.
  • Step 4
    Add the superfine sugar to a mug.
  • Step 5
    Add the Irish whiskey.
  • Step 6
    Fill to 1/2 inch of the top with freshly brewed coffee.
  • Step 7
    Top with whipped cream.
  • Step 8
    Drizzle Bailey's Irish Cream liqueur over the whipped cream.
  • Step 9
    Sprinkle shaved Ghirardelli chocolate over the whipped cream.
  • Step 10
    Serve with a rolled wafer cookie and a sip stick.
