You can make it in a pot if you need it quickly or it’s perfect in a crock pot to allow folks to serve themselves through the evening or to have ready and waiting when you get home from shopping or where ever your day takes you. .

Ingredients

  • 2 quarts clear apple juice
  • 1 1/2 cups brewed black tea, such as darjeeling
  • 1 cup amaretto or frangelico for a nutty influence

How To Make fall appley comfort toddy

  • Step 1
    Combine apple juice, tea and your liquor of choice in a large pot and heat over moderate heat until hot,do not boil . Or use a crock pot and allow time for heating. This is the best way to keep it warm.
  • Step 2
    Scoop toddy into cups and serve with a cinnamon stick in each.
