Ingredients

  • 2 ounces semisweet chocolate, finely chopped
  • 2 cups half and half
  • 1 cup amaretto
  • 2 ounces unsweetened chocolate, finely chopped
  • 4 - shots espresso
  • - steamed milk
  • 1/3 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 cup whipped cream
  • 3 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoons semisweet chocolate, grated

How To Make amaretto cafe for a crowd

  • Step 1
    In a heavy saucepan, combine finely chopped chocolates, sugars and half-and-half.
  • Step 2
    Simmer over low heat until chocolate is melted and sugar is dissolved.
  • Step 3
    Cool.
  • Step 4
    Add amaretto and refrigerate until serving time.
  • Step 5
    To serve, pour 1/4 of the mixture into each coffee cup.
  • Step 6
    Add 1 shot espresso to each cup and fill with steamed milk.
  • Step 7
    Top with whipped cream and chocolate shavings.
  • Step 8
    Serve immediately.
