Ingredients

  • 1 cup whole milk plain yogurt
  • 1 1/2 cups plain kefir (although a flavored kefir is certainly allowed!: mango, raspberry, pomegranate, etc.)
  • 2 tablespoons powdered sugar, superfine sugar or powdered unrefined cane sugar, to taste (amount reduced from 1/2 c.) (such as sucanet™) (read *tip below)
  • 1/2 teaspoon rose water, to taste
  • 1/8 teaspoon ground cardamom
  • - ice cubes

How To Make lassi with rosewater and cardamom

  • Step 1
    Combine all the ingredients except for the ice cubes in a blender and blend until smooth. Place ice cubes in drinking glasses and pour in the lassi to the top. Enjoy!
  • Step 2
    *Tip: you can make your own powdered sugar by whirling sugar in a clean coffee mill until pulverized. Whichever sugar you choose to use it needs to be powdered in order for the sugar to dissolve completely in the smoothie.
