Ingredients

1 c
whole milk plain yogurt
1 1/2 c
plain kefir (although a flavored kefir is certainly allowed!: mango, raspberry, pomegranate, etc.)
2 Tbsp
powdered sugar, superfine sugar or powdered unrefined cane sugar, to taste (amount reduced from 1/2 c.) (such as sucanetâ„¢) (read *tip below)
1/2 tsp
rose water, to taste
1/8 tsp
ground cardamom
ice cubes

How to Make Lassi with Rosewater and Cardamom

Step-by-Step

  • 1Combine all the ingredients except for the ice cubes in a blender and blend until smooth. Place ice cubes in drinking glasses and pour in the lassi to the top. Enjoy!
  • 2*Tip: you can make your own powdered sugar by whirling sugar in a clean coffee mill until pulverized. Whichever sugar you choose to use it needs to be powdered in order for the sugar to dissolve completely in the smoothie.
