Ingredients

  • 7 cups boiling water
  • 2/3 cup sugar or splenda
  • 6 - black tea bags (i like single source ceylon the best)
  • 1 - habanero chile, halved (seeds included)
  • 2 cups ice, plus more for serving
  • - lime slices

How To Make sweet-heat iced tea

  • Step 1
    In large, heatproof bowl or pitcher, stir together boiling water with sugar, tea bags and chile.
  • Step 2
    Steep 7 minutes; strain. Stir in 2 cups ice. Serve over more ice with lime slices.
