Ingredients
- 2 cups sugar
- 1 pound strawberries sliced
- 1/2 cup lightly packed fresh basil leaves, chiffonade
- 2 cups fresh lemon juice
- - ice for serving
- - sliced lemons for garnish
- 1 1/2 cups vodka( totally optional )
How To Make strawberry basil lemonade

Step 1Bring 1 cup of water to a boil in a medium saucepan. Add sugar and stir until it dissolves. Add the strawberries and the basil and continue to simmer for 5 minutes. Remove from heat and let sleep until completely cool.

Step 2Strain and discard solids. In a 1 gallon container, add lemon juice, 14 cups of cold water and the strawberry basil syrup. Stir until well mixed. Pour the lemonade over ice and sertve with a slice of lemon.
