Something special to warm up on a cold evening -- rich, creamy and comforting, this hot cocoa has a hint of cinnamon, chocolate bits and whipped cream. Personally I like an extra sprinkle of cinnamon on the whipped cream instead of the chips.

Ingredients

  • 4 cups milk, whole is best but lighter milk will work fine.
  • 1 cup chocolate syrup
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1 cup sweetened whipped cream
  • 1/4 cup miniature semisweet chocolate chips
  • 4 - cinnamon sticks

How To Make snow-capped cinnamon hot cocoa

  • Step 1
    Combine milk and syrup in 1-quart microwave-safe bowl.
  • Step 2
    Microwave on high (100%) power for 5 minutes or until hot.
  • Step 3
    Stir in ground cinnamon.
  • Step 4
    Pour into 4 large mugs; garnish with whipped cream, morsels and cinnamon sticks.
