mulled apple juice (in slow cooker)
This is another recipe I have written on notebook paper. I never expected to need the source, I guess. It was a long time ago, that it was written down. Sounds very tasty.

Makes 10 (8 oz.) servings
Ingredients
- 1 cinnamon stick, broken
- 1 teaspoon whole allspice
- 1 teaspoon whole cloves
- 10 cups apple juice (2 1/2 quarts)
- 1/3 cup honey or packed brown sugar
- cinnamon sticks (optional stirrers/garnish)
How To Make mulled apple juice (in slow cooker)

Step 1Tie broken cinnamon stick, allspice and cloves in a spice bag, or make one out of cheesecloth.

Step 2In a 3 1/2 to 6 quart crockery cooker, combine spice bag, apple juice, and honey or brown sugar. Cover.

Step 3Cook on HIGH for 2 1/2 to 3 hours or on LOW for 5-6 hours.

Step 4Remove spice bag and discard. Serve juice in mugs with cinnamon stirrers, if desired. Makes 10 (8 oz.) servings.
