I put spice into pretty much everything I can and so with this coffee. Lots of wonderful flavor and something that makes you want to kick back and slowly enjoy it.

Ingredients

  • 8 cups strong coffee
  • 1/3 cup sugar or splenda (oe to taste)
  • 1/4 cup chocolate syrup (optional)
  • 1/2 teaspoon anise seed (tied in cheesecloth if desired, i don't bother)
  • 12 - cloves
  • 4 - cinnamon sticks
  • - whipped cream
  • - orange twist and lemon twist

How To Make mediterranean coffee

  • Step 1
    Place coffee, sugar, chocolate syrup, anise seed, cloves and cinnamon into a sauce pan
  • Step 2
    Heat to 200 F degrees over medium heat
  • Step 3
    Strain into mugs
  • Step 4
    Top with whipped cream and twists.
