A coffee drink. Heavy on the maple syrup for this creamy coffee drink. Fresh local maple syrup at the beginning of spring is better than your regular supermarket syrup if you can get it.

Ingredients
- 2 cups hot coffee
- 1/2 cup half-and-half
- 1/4 cup maple syrup
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
- - whipped cream (optional)

Step 1Heat the milk and syrup together in a saucepan, but do not let it boil. Stir in the hot coffee.
