Serve this classic Moroccan coffee for an elegant ending to a Moroccan meal, or to add a special, aromatic touch to coffee hour. Vanilla sugar can be used as a sweetener to add another layer of flavor. Moroccans like their coffee quite strong so use less coffee if you prefer a milder brew. Personally I use 1 Tbsp and that is quite strong enough for me.

Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons ground coffee or espresso beans
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 6 ounces (180 ml) water
  • 1/2 teaspoon orange flower water, or to taste
  • - plain sugar or vanilla sugar, to taste
  • - hot or steamed milk, to taste

How To Make cinnamon coffee with orange flower water - morocco

  • Step 1
    Add the cinnamon to the ground coffee beans, and brew the coffee as usual.
  • Step 2
    Stir in the orange flower water.
  • Step 3
    Serve hot with the milk and sugar
