Cinnamon Coffee with Orange Flower Water - Morocco

Serve this classic Moroccan coffee for an elegant ending to a Moroccan meal, or to add a special, aromatic touch to coffee hour. Vanilla sugar can be used as a sweetener to add another layer of flavor. Moroccans like their coffee quite strong so use less coffee if you prefer a milder brew. Personally I use 1 Tbsp and that is quite strong enough for me.

1/4 tsp
ground cinnamon
6 oz
(180 ml) water
1/2 tsp
orange flower water, or to taste
plain sugar or vanilla sugar, to taste
hot or steamed milk, to taste

How to Make Cinnamon Coffee with Orange Flower Water - Morocco


  • 1Add the cinnamon to the ground coffee beans, and brew the coffee as usual.
  • 2Stir in the orange flower water.
  • 3Serve hot with the milk and sugar
