java float (like starbucks)

This is really good, but I think it's a little more flavorful than the ones you get at Starbucks. I also like to add different syrups (the bottled kind you buy to flavor your coffee). Orgeat/almond syrup is my favorite, but raspberry syrup is really good, too.

How To Make java float (like starbucks)

  • Step 1
In each of 2 glasses, stir together 2 tablespoons of chocolate syrup and 1 cup of club soda. (I like to add a splash or 2 of almond syrup, but that's my own preference.)
  • Step 2
Place 2 scoops of ice cream in each glass.
  • Step 3
Optional - If you wish, you can top with a heaping mound of whipped cream, then drizzle a little additional chocolate syrup on the whipped cream. Serve immediately.
