In the summer when we have had months of triple digits and I'm wanting to see Autumn, I blend this up to remind me that cooler weather is on the way. This would also be a good dessert beverage for the 4th of July.

Ingredients
- 1 - apple pie slice, including crust
- 3 ounces apple juice or apple cider
- 3 ounces unsweetened almond milk
- 1 scoop vanilla ice cream
- - cinnamon
How To Make apple pie smoothie

Step 1In a blender, add the apple pie slice, apple juice or apple cider, almond milk and the scoop of vanilla ice cream and blend until combined.

Step 2Pour into a mug or jar and top with a dusting of cinnamon.

Step 3Note: You may use skim, 1% or 2% milk in place of the almond milk.
