spiced christmas coffee
Warming and sensual this coffee is something special. This is supposed to be for 8 servings but I must confess that I like more coffee in my cup so I'm doing well if I manage 6 servings. It's not at all uncommon for folks to take seconds either.

Ingredients
- 3/4 cup chilled whipping cream
- 1 cup freshly ground coffee (preferrable a mild roast)
- 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
- 1 1/2 tablespoons powdered sugar
- 5 teaspoons ground cardamom
- 1 teaspoon ground nutmeg
- 1 tablespoon brandy (your favorite)
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- 7 cups water
How To Make spiced christmas coffee

Step 1Using electric mixer, beat whipping cream in a large bowl to soft peaks.

Step 2Add powdered sugar and brandy; beat to peaks.

Step 3Place ground coffee, cardamom, sugar, cinnamon and nutmeg in coffee filter.

Step 4Using spoon, mix gently.

Step 5Add water to the coffee maker and brew according to manufacturer's instructions.

Step 6Divide coffee among 8 cups.

Step 7Garnish each with a generous dollop of whipped cream and serve immediately.
