- HOT BUTTERED RUM BATTER
- 1 pound butter, room temperature
- 1 pound brown sugar
- 1 pound sugar
- 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
- 1 teaspoon ground cloves
- 1 teaspoon ground nutmeg
- 1 quart vanilla ice cream, softened slightly
- HOT BUTTERED RUM COCKTAIL
- 1 1/2 ounces rum
- 1 tablespoon hot buttered rum batter, frozen
- - boiling water
How To Make hot buttered rum

Step 1For the batter: Add all the ingredients except the ice cream to a bowl and stir to combine. Add the ice cream and stir again. Transfer to a container with a lid, seal and store in the freezer.

Step 2For the cocktail: Add the rum and batter to a mug. Fill with boiling water and stir.
