cinnamon almond hot cocoa
It doesn't snow very often this far South. So for my "snow-day" I made this hot chocolate and enjoyed the winter wonderland in my backyard.

Ingredients
- 1 - quart milk
- 3 ounces semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 3 - tablespoons slivered almonds
- 1 - tablespoon vanilla sugar
- 2 - teaspoons cinnamon
How To Make cinnamon almond hot cocoa

Step 1In a blender ground almonds, sugar, cinnamon, and chocolate chips until fine. Add milk and blend until frothy.

Step 2Heat on stove in large saucepan on medium low heat about 10 minutes-stirring often.

Step 3Pour in mugs and enjoy with sweet whipped cream or marshmallows.
