Not everyone likes red wine sangria. This recipe is lite and wonderful on a Spring or early Summer day!

Ingredients

1 c
unsweetened pineapple juice
1/4 c
lemon juice
2 medium
oranges, washed and sliced
1 medium
lemon, washed and sliced
1 bottle
(750 ml) of white wine, riesling suggested
1 c
sliced, fresh pineapple
1/4 c
triple sec, or grand marnier, or brandy
2 c
lemon-lime soda, chilled
ice cubes

How to Make White Wine Sangria with Pineapple Juice

Step-by-Step

  • 1In a large pitcher, combine the pineapple juice, lemon juice and orange and lemon slices; mash gently with a wooden spoon until fruit is partially crushed.
  • 2Add the wine, pineapple, and triple sec.
  • 3Refrigerate for 2-4 hours.
  • 4Just before serving, add soda. Serve over ice.
