This recipe is based upon one from a "My Great Recipes" card in the mid 1980s. It has become a much requested favorite amongst our friends.

Ingredients

  • 2 bottles pinot grigio wine
  • 2 bottles sauvignon blanc wine
  • 1 quart pineapple juice
  • 1 liter 7-up (lemon-lime flavored carbonated beverage)
  • 3 tablespoons sugar
  • 20 ounces pineapple chunks (fruit and juice, do not drain)
  • 2 medium oranges, thinly sliced and seeded
  • 2 medium lemons, thinly sliced and seeded

How To Make white sangria

  • Step 1
    Stir all ingredients together and chill prior to serving.
  • Step 2
    Fun serving ideas: 1. Garnish glasses or canning jars with fruit slices 2. Pour into splits or carafes 3. Serve out of a galvanized tub with all of the pretty fruit slices floating atop
