tipsy peach lemonade
This one is very inviting on a hot afternoon, but be careful... It's a sneaker! This is a great drink, but it does not need to contain alcohol. Easily made non alcoholic by omitting the liquor and still refreshing. This recipe makes about 5 cups. Use 1 oz of vodka per serving if you want the alcohol. You won't be disappointed!
Blue Ribbon Recipe
One sip of this lemonade cocktail, and we guarantee this will be your new favorite summertime drink. The peach simple syrup is amazing on its own and a great way to use fresh peaches. When added to a basic lemonade, it tastes like pure summer. We added a shot of vodka to each serving, and it was a nice complement without being overpowering. However, it's just as refreshing without the alcohol. The ultimate poolside beverage for the summer.
Ingredients
- 2 - fresh peaches, peeled and diced

- - peach slices and lemon zest, for garnish
How To Make tipsy peach lemonade
-
Step 1Put diced peaches, sugar, and water into a 2 qt pot. Bring to a boil. Lower the heat and simmer until the sugar is completely dissolved; approximately 10 minutes.

Step 2Allow the mixture to cool to room temperature. Strain through a sieve, pressing to extract as much juice as possible, saving the extracted juice in a separate container. If you would like to use the pulp, you can skip the straining procedure, but it will be very thick.
-
Step 3Stir lemon juice into the cooked juice, with or without the fruit.
-
Step 4Ladle into a tall glass that has been filled with ice.
-
Step 5Add vodka and stir.
-
