• Step 1
  Lightly spray an 8 x8 baking pan with non stick spray. You can use silicone molds for this if you prefer. For the red layer, pour the grenadine and water into a small pot. Sprinkle the gelatin over top, and let sit for two minutes. Turn the heat on low, stirring constantly for 5 minutes until completely dissolved. Pour into prepared pan or mold and chill for at least 45 minutes or until it is set. Next is the orange layer. Pour the orange juice into a small pot. Sprinkle the gelatin over top, and let sit for two minutes. Turn the heat on low, stirring constantly for about 5 minutes or until the gelatin is completely dissolved. Remove from the heat and stir in the tequila. Allow mixture to cool to room temperature. Using a large spoon or ladle, slowly pour the orange over the set grenadine layer. Put in the fridge until it is completely set. For the baking dish use a sharp knife and cut into small squares - or large square if you like. Use a flexible spatula to remove. If you used molds remove carefully. Place onto a chilled serving tray and keep in fridge until party time.
