How to Make Make at Home Kahlua

  1. Mix sugar, water, and coffee together. Bring to a boil, reduce heat to a simmer. Simmer for 30 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  2. After simmering for 30 minutes, remove from heat and cool to room temperature.
  3. After cooled to room temp, add vanilla and alcohol.
  4. Bottle and cap. Makes 1 quart.
  5. This makes an excellent Black Russian when served plain on the rocks, or White Russian when mixed with Half and Half. This is a very strong liquer, extra alcohol is not needed. Great for a cocktail party. Have the phone number of a good taxi cab service handy LOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!
