How to Make Limoncello (Italian Lemon Liqueur)
- 1Peel just the yellow outer layer of lemons. Try not to get the white part.
- 2Pour vodka in mason jar. Add the lemon peel and seal with the lid.
- 3Store in a dark cool place for 2 weeks.
- 4After 2 weeks boil the water and sugar until sugar is dissolved. Let it cool then add it to the vodka jar.
- 5Let sit another 2 weeks. Strain out the lemon peel. It's now ready to drink.
