Ingredients

3-4 medium
blood oranges
1 medium
lime
2 oz
agave tequila
1 oz
triple sec or cointreau liquer
coarse sea or kosher salt
crushed ice

How to Make HOOK 'EM BURNT ORANGE MARGARITA (SALLYE)

Step-by-Step

  • 1Squeeze blood oranges to make at least 4 ounces of blood orange juice

    Squeeze lime to make at least 1 ounce lime juice

    Mix together with tequila in glass jar and set aside
  • 2Place salt on saucer.

    Wet rim of margarita glass with lime juice and dip in salt.

    Fill glass with crushed ice.

    Pour tequila and juice mixture slowly over ice

    Add triple sec or cointreau

    Stir gently just until mixed
  • 3ALTERNATE METHOD: You can put ice in a blender; then pour tequila mixture and cointreaU or triple sec into blender and process until you have a frozen margarita.
  • 4ENJOY
