This is a classic cocktail that remains fairly consistent from site to site, differing perhaps only in the specific amount of vodka, orange juice and Galliano used. So experiment until you reach the blend that works best for you. This version is a really good place to start. The classic Harvey Wallbanger cocktail dates back to the early 1950s but gained in popularity in the late 1960s/early 1970s. It was named after a Manhattan Beach surfer who frequented a bar on Sunset Boulevard in Hollywood, where the drink was originally created.
