My family and friends have enjoyed this recipe for many years. An alternate recipe substitutes 1/2 can sweetened condensed milk for the evaporated milk and sugars. Slainte.

Ingredients
- 4 - eggs
- 1 can (12 fl. oz.) evaorated milk
- 4 ounces irish or rye whiskey (use more or less to taste)
- 1/4 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
- 1/4 teaspoon almond extract
- 2 tablespoons unsweetened chocolate (finely grated)
- 2 tablespoons cocoa powder (100% cacao; unsweetened)
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 1/4 cup cane sugar

Step 1Grate the unsweetened bar of chocolate into shavings.

Step 2Blend the remaining ingredients until well mixed.

Step 3Fold in the chocolate shavings and blend again.

Step 4Chill well before serving. Keep refrigerated.
