watermelon sangria

This is an easy Spanish Sangria recipe made with rosé wine with plenty of watermelon and fresh raspberries to sweeten and flavor the wine. It's a refreshing drink to cool off during summertime heat waves or just to enjoy while relaxing after a hard day at work.

Ingredients For watermelon sangria

  • 3 cups
    white grape juice, chilled
  • 1 (750ml) bottle
    rosé wine
  • 2 cups
    cubed watermelon, chilled
  • 1 to 2 pt
    fresh raspberries
  • 1 cup
    ice cubes
  • soda water, optional (for serving)

How To Make watermelon sangria

  • 1
    Pour grape juice into a large pitcher. Gently stir in the watermelon cubes (and any watermelon juice) and whole raspberries.

    Cover pitcher, and chill in refrigerator about 4 hours or until thoroughly chilled (up to 1 day in advance).

    Place ice cubes into 6 tall glass tumblers. Pour Watermelon Sangria over ice, top off with a splash of soda water (if desired), and serve immediately.
