Ingredients
- - ice cubes
- 1 ounce dark rum
- 1 ounce light rum
- 1 splash - grenadine syrup
- 1/2 ounce orgeat (almond flavor syrup - i use the torani syrup for flavoring coffee)
- 2 ounces prepared orange juice
- 2 ounces pineapple juice
- 1/2 ounce triple sec (or other orange flavored liqueur)
- 1 - pineapple wedge (for garnish)
- 1 - maraschino cherry (for garnish)
- 1/2 cup - crushed ice
How To Make tiki style mai tai

Step 1Place ice cubes in a cocktail shaker. Add dark rum, light rum, almond syrup, grenadine, orange juice, and pineapple juice. Shake vigorously until well blended.

Step 2Place crushed ice in a Collins glass. Strain the cocktail over the crushed ice.

Step 3Float the triple sec on top by pouring it over the back of a spoon. Garnish with a cocktail skewer threaded with a pineapple wedge and maraschino cherry, and serve immediately with a straw.
