If you've ever been to N'awlins, chances are you've been to Pat O'Brien's and had one of their famous Hurricanes. No need to buy those powdered mixes full of chemicals - here's the real deal... (Well, I don't remember where this came from - but it tastes like the real deal to me!!!)

Ingredients

1/2 lime, juiced
2 ounces light rum
2 ounces dark rum
2 ounces passion fruit juice
1 ounce orange juice
1 tablespoon simple syrup
1 tablespoon grenadine
maraschino cherry, for garnish
orange slice, for garnish

How To Make the hurricane

Step 1

Squeeze juice from half a lime into shaker over ice. Pour the remaining ingredients into the cocktail shaker. Shake well.

Step 2

Strain into a hurricane glass. Garnish with a cherry and an orange slice.
