A variation on the Rusty Nail cocktail. I usually don't bother with the shaker, and just stir the liquor in the glass, then add ice and stir again. Love this with a Luxardo cherry.

Ingredients For the godfather cocktail

  • 2 oz
    blended scotch
  • 3/4 oz
    amaretto liqueur

How To Make the godfather cocktail

  • 1
    Add ice to a cocktail shaker, about 1/2 full. Add the Bourbon and Amaretto. STIR until well chilled.
  • 2
    Add ice to a rocks glass. Strain the drink into the glass.
