    ice cubes
  • 1 1/2 oz
    tequila (1 jigger)
  • 1/2 c
    orange juice
  • 2 tsp
    lime juice
  • 1 Tbsp
    grenadine, or more to taste
  • ·
    orange twist, garnish
  • ·
    maraschino cherry, garnish

How to Make Tequila Sunrise

Step-by-Step

  1. Place ice cubes in a tall glass. Add tequila, orange juice and lime juice. Stir just to mix.
  2. Slowly add grenadine. Do not stir. Garnish with an orange twist and maraschino cherry.
  3. Determine the sweetness of this Mexican classic by the amount of grenadine you use.
