summertime frozen rosé

“A very simple and delicious "frozen rosé" cocktail, a mix of adult slushie and sangria!" A friend used strawberry vodka with this and loved it, I like the lemon. In a pinch I think it might be fine with regular vodka, too! Cooking time is freezing time for this recipe.

Ingredients

  • 1 750 ml bottles rose wine
  • 12 ounces fresh strawberries, sliced, save out 4-6 for garnish on your glasses
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 1/2 cup lemon vodka, kept in your freezer
  • 2 tablespoons grenadine syrup, chilled
  • lemon slices for garnish

How To Make summertime frozen rosé

  • Step 1
    Pour wine into ice cube trays and freeze overnight.
  • Step 2
    In a blender, combine the strawberries and the sugar and let sit at room temperature for about 10 minutes or so, until the berries begin to release their juices and sugar is dissolved.
  • Step 3
    Add the vodka, grenadine, and rosé cubes. Blend the mixture on high until smooth. Pour into glasses and garnish with strawberries and lemon slices.
