How To Make strawberry sangria
-
1Prepare 1 C strawberries & orange. Freeze at least 4 hours or until ready to serve. NOTE: Having frozen fruit allows to chill the drink without it watering it down & adds flavor.
-
2In a large saucepan, combine 8 C strawberries, sugar & water. Bring to a boil; stirring to dissolve sugar. Remove from heat, cover & cool to room temperature. Press mixture through a fine mesh sieve; discarding solids & you should have about 3 C or more.
-
3In a 2 qt pitcher, stir together strawberry/sugar mixture & wine. Cover & chill 24 hours for flavors to marry. VERY IMPORTANT!
-
4Before serving, stir in 7-up (or whatever using) & frozen fruit. Enjoy!
