Ingredients

  • - salt
  • 1/2 ounce simple syrup
  • 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes
  • 1 pinch chipotle chile powder
  • 1 3/4 ounces tequila
  • 1/2 ounce grand marnier
  • 3/4 ounce fresh lime juice

How To Make spicy grand margarita

  • Step 1
    Coat the rim of a rocks glass with salt, fill with ice and set aside.
  • Step 2
    In a shaker, muddle the agave nectar or simple syrup, red pepper flakes and chile powder.
  • Step 3
    Add the remaining ingredients, fill with ice and shake vigorously.
  • Step 4
    Strain through a tea strainer into the prepared glass. Garnish with a jalapeno or red chile pepper.
