smashing pumpkins!
I found this on a friends wall post from Face Book. Everyone is so crazy about the Spiced pumpkin late... thought this might be an interesting new way to enjoy pumpkin spice! Yummmmm

Ingredients
- 1 1/2 ounces bourbon
- 1 ounce pumpkin reduction
- 1 dash celery bitters
How To Make smashing pumpkins!

Step 1Pour bourbon, pumpkin reduction, and bitters into a mixing glass or shaker and fill with ice. Stir or shake vigorously. Strain into an old-fashioned glass with one large ice cube.

Step 2Pumpkin Reduction Ingredients: 1 ½ quarts chopped Cinderella pumpkin, 2 quarts water, 3 cups sugar, 10 cloves (or1/4 tsp ground cloves), 7 whole allspice (or1/4 tsp. ground), 1 cinnamon stick (or 1 tsp.ground), 2 whole star anise Preparation: Scoop out the pumpkin seeds and pulp, then peel and chop the pumpkin flesh into small one-inch cubes. Add all ingredients in a non-reactive pot and bring to a boil. Simmer for 40 minutes until reduced. Strain the mixture into a clean bowl and place in an ice bath to cool.
