shirlie's "blue angel" snowcone'tini
For my birthday, my mom & her fiance took me to an Italian restaurant for dinner. While there, she ordered a martini called a "Snow Cone-Tini." It is the cutest thing, so I just had to come home and recreate some of my own. This is the first of many that I'll post. (I had fresh fruit skewers all made up for holiday drinks, but unfortunately, some naughty little "elves" ate them & left the empty container in the fridge.)

Ingredients
- 2 ounces blueberry vodka
- 1 1/2 ounces blue curacao
- - splash of pineapple juice or lemonade, optional
- - garnish with fresh fruit
- - ice shaver or snow cone maker
How To Make shirlie's "blue angel" snowcone'tini

Step 1In a glass or bowl, shave some ice and form it into a nice size snow ball; place it in a martini glass. In a shaker filled with ice, add the blueberry vodka and blue curacao; shake to combine.

Step 2Strain into the martini glass, being careful not to pour it over the snow ball. Add a splash of pineapple juice or lemonade, if desired. Garnish with fresh fruit.
