From my copy of 'An Embarrassment of Mangoes-a Caribbean Interlude' by Ann Vanderhoof. I just finished reading this book for the third time about two months ago!

Ingredients

  • 2 ounces white rum
  • 4 ounces unsweetened coconut water
  • 1 tablespoon sweetened condensed milk, to taste
  • - freshly grated nutmeg

How To Make rum & coconut water a la receta

  • Step 1
    Shake or stir the white rum, coconut water and milk with ice cubes/(crushed ice if you prefer).
  • Step 2
    Taste and add more sweetened condensed milk if you want the drink a bit sweeter.
  • Step 3
    Finish with a sprinkle of freshly grated nutmeg.
