Red Stick Bloody Marys

Set up a Bloody Mary bar and let your guests create their own drinks. Provide peppers, limes, string beans, onions, okra and of course, plenty of celery

2 cups vegetable juice cocktail
1 cup vodka citron
1 cup cocktail sauce
juice of 1/2 large lemon
juice fo 1 small lime
2 tsp. cracked pepper
1 tsp. tabasco sauce
1 tsp. celery seeds
1/4 tsp. cumin seeds, ground
celery salt to taste
celery heart spears
12 pickled okra
12 spicy pickled green beans


1Mix the vegetable juice, vodka, cocktail sauce, lemon juice and lemon, lime juice and lime, pepper, Tabasco sauce, celery seeds and cumin seeds in a large container. Mix well.
2Moisten rims of 6 glasses with water and rotate rims in celery salt to cover evenly. Fill glasses with ice and strain Bloody Mary mixture into glasses. Serve with celery hearts, pickled okra and pickled green beans. Serves 6
