paradise sunrise

This Carnival cocktail was created by a creative mixologist at a New Orleans hotel years ago, and it has become a favorite among Mardi Gras revelers. It's not exactly a "layered" drink. But it does have varying color tones. Once the juices and liqueurs begin to settle and meld together, the drink takes on a deep red base with varying shades of red above it. Though no one will care if you choose to imbibe at once, instead of waiting for the layers to "settle".
