This is a popular tequila and grapefruit cocktail from Mexico. There are a lot of different versions of this cocktail, but I really like it with the grapefruit soda because it's so refreshing. But I'm looking forward to trying it again (and again) using fresh grapefruit juice.

Ingredients
- - salt, for rim
- 2 1/2 ounces tequila
- 1 squeeze - lime juice
- 6 ounces ruby red (pink) grapfruit juice or grapefruit soda (like fresca, squirt, or jarritos)
- 1 - lime wedge, for garnish
- 1 cup ice cubes
How To Make paloma

Step 1Turn highball glass upside down and dip rim in water to moisten rim. Then dip rim in salt to coat rim with salt crystals.

Step 2Add ice to highball glass. Add tequila and lime juice, then top with grapefruit juice or soda. Stir.

Step 3Garnish with a wedge of lime, and serve.
