I came across this simple but cute idea 'cause we were looking for a new tradition to celebrate New Years.

Ingredients

bunch fresh green seedless grapes
bunch fresh red seedless grapes
- wooden skewers (as many as you need)
1 bottle champagne (as much as you need)

How To Make new years spain style

Step 1

Poor the champagne into glasses.

Step 2

Place 12 green seedless green grapes onto each skewer (you do the same with the red grapes). Then place into champagne-filled glasses.
Step 3

At exactly 12 midnight...each person quickly eats all 12 grapes off their skewer. The 12 grapes represent a full year...ie, each single grape represents one month.
Step 4

If all the grapes are sweet to taste then you have a full year of good luck =) Cheers & Happy New Year Everyone!
