I came across this simple but cute idea 'cause we were looking for a new tradition to celebrate New Years.

  • bunch
    fresh green seedless grapes
  • bunch
    fresh red seedless grapes
  • ·
wooden skewers (as many as you need)
  • 1 bottle
champagne (as much as you need)

How to Make New Years Spain style

  1. Poor the champagne into glasses.
  2. Place 12 green seedless green grapes onto each skewer (you do the same with the red grapes).
    Then place into champagne-filled glasses.
  3. At exactly 12 midnight...each person quickly eats all 12 grapes off their skewer. The 12 grapes represent a full, each single grape represents one month.
  4. If all the grapes are sweet to taste then you have a full year of good luck =) Cheers & Happy New Year Everyone!
