How to Make Mulled Spiced Wine

Step-by-Step

  1. In a large saucepan, dissolve the sugar in the boiling water, stirring well.
  2. Add the wine, cinnamon sticks and cloves.
  3. Pour into slow cooker with the heat on low. Stir well.
  4. Heat for at least an hour. Do not allow mixture to boil.
  5. Serve in mugs.
