Ingredients
- 1 bottle burgundy or claret
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1 1/2 cups boiling water
- 1/2 - thinly sliced lemon
- 3 - cinnamon sticks
- 3 - whole cloves
How To Make mulled spiced wine

Step 1In a large saucepan, dissolve the sugar in the boiling water, stirring well.

Step 2Add the wine, cinnamon sticks and cloves.

Step 3Pour into slow cooker with the heat on low. Stir well.

Step 4Heat for at least an hour. Do not allow mixture to boil.

Step 5Serve in mugs.
