1 bottleburgundy or claret

1/2 csugar

1 1/2 cboiling water

1/2thinly sliced lemon

3cinnamon sticks

3whole cloves
How to Make Mulled Spiced Wine
- In a large saucepan, dissolve the sugar in the boiling water, stirring well.
- Add the wine, cinnamon sticks and cloves.
- Pour into slow cooker with the heat on low. Stir well.
- Heat for at least an hour. Do not allow mixture to boil.
- Serve in mugs.
