The first time I tasted this eggnog was at my friend Sherry's home at Grand Forks AFB. Knocked me for a loop..

I have substituted extracts for the alcohol. Taste the same you just remain standing...

Ingredients

egg yolks
1 c
sugar
4 c
half and half
2 c
whole milk
2 c
dark rum
2 c
brandy
1 tsp
vanilla extract
1/2 gal
vanilla ice cream

How to Make Miss Sherry's Eggnog

Step-by-Step

  • 1Whip together the egg yolks and sugar
  • 2Mix in ½ and ½, milk, rum and brandy.
  • 3Stir in vanilla extract
  • 4Cut up the ice cream into manageable pieces. Place the ice cream in the punch bowl
  • 5Pour whipped milk mixture over ice cream and serve
