mango lassi
Publix Grocery store had mangoes on sale.... 10 for $10.. whoooo! One of my favorite drinks in the world is Mango Lassi. I love making curry, and there is nothing more refreshing and pallet cleansing than a chilly mango lassi. Lassis have a great way of pulling all the spice from Indian curry off your tongue the minute you are done tasting it. Perfect drink. Yummy, sweet and frothy. Here's my recipe for a traditional mango lassi.

Ingredients
- 2 - whole mangoes, peeled and diced
- 1/2 cup whole milk
- 1 cup unflavored yogurt
- 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
- 1/2 teaspoon ground ginger
- 3 tablespoons honey
- 1/4 teaspoon green cardamom powder
- 1/2 tablespoon lemon juice, fresh
- - ground cinnamon, garnish
How To Make mango lassi
-
Step 1VERY EASY!!!! Combine all ingredients; except for the garnish of course; into a blender and blend until very frothy! Serve in a chilled glass and garnish with cinnamon.
-
Step 2Side note: I preferred a chilled glass over serving it with ice. I find the ice to dilute the lassi as it melts. Not as nice.
- Last Step: Don't forget to share! Post a picture of your finished recipe here and on your favorite social network. Don't forget to tag Just A Pinch and include #justapinchrecipes!
