We LOVE gin. Many people don't. I developed this recipe for those who aren't "in love" with gin because it capitalizes on the piney flavor of the gin and refreshes at the same time. It's a lovely summer-sitting-on-deck drink.

Ingredients

How to Make Lime Gin Rickey

Step-by-Step

  1. In a shaker, combine gin, juice and sugar. Shake vigorously for 30 seconds to dissolve the sugar.
  2. Fill two highball glasses 3/4 full with crushed ice
  3. Pour shaken mixture into two glasses.
  4. Add tonic water to fill glasses. Stir vigorously.
  5. Garnish with lime wedges. Serve.
