lime gin rickey

We LOVE gin. Many people don't. I developed this recipe for those who aren't "in love" with gin because it capitalizes on the piney flavor of the gin and refreshes at the same time. It's a lovely summer-sitting-on-deck drink.

Ingredients
- 4 jiggers - dry gin (i use tangueray)
- 2 - limes, juiced
- - ice
- 1 tablespoon refined sugar
- - tonic water
- 2 - lime wedges
How To Make lime gin rickey

Step 1In a shaker, combine gin, juice and sugar. Shake vigorously for 30 seconds to dissolve the sugar.

Step 2Fill two highball glasses 3/4 full with crushed ice

Step 3Pour shaken mixture into two glasses.

Step 4Add tonic water to fill glasses. Stir vigorously.

Step 5Garnish with lime wedges. Serve.
