Ingredients
- THE SYRUP
- 1 cup water
- 3 tablespoons lavender flowers
- 2 cups sugar
- THE DRINK
- 2 ounces bourbon
- 3/4 ounce fresh lemon juice
- 3/4 ounce lavender syrup
- crushed ice
How To Make lavender sour cocktail

Step 1THE SYRUP - Boil the water, add lavender flowers. Stir in the sugar until it dissolves. Simmer on lower heat for about 15 minutes. Remove from heat and steep for an hour or more. What you don't use for the cocktail can be stored in the fridge.

Step 2THE DRINK - Add the bourbon, syrup and lemon juice to a shaker. Fill with crushed ice and shake until chilled. Garnish with lemon twist and a sprig of lavender.
