I made this for my Aunt who wanted a really fruity red wine that was cold. It's funny because normally red wine is served room temp. Well it went over well and I make it for them everytime I cook fajitas.

Ingredients For kimberly's sangria punch

  • 1 bag
    red seedless grapes
  • 2
    red apples (medium to large)
  • 3-4
    clementines or tangerines
  • 4-5
    limes (medium)
  • 4 cups
    white grape juice (peach white grape is better)
  • 2 bottles
    castaneda sangria wine (world market)

How To Make kimberly's sangria punch

    If you can not find Sangria wine you can sub a fruity (not sharp) red wine • In a large glass pitcher crush and mash the grapes in the bottom getting all the juice out of the grapes, make sure no stems get into the mix • Use 4 of the 5 limes to squeeze all the juice into the mix • Take all but one of the citrus and squeeze the juice out of it into the mix • Add the 4 cups of white peach grape juice • Take a wooden spoon and stir and crush around in the bottom • Next slice the remaining lime and citrus and both apples longs ways, the circular fruit slice on a vertical to have pretty thin slices and drop into pitcher, apples slice longs ways or chop into cubes (no seeds) • Last add the 2 bottles of wine and stir

    OPTIONS: • For additional flavor you can add 1 cup of agave nectar (better) or 1 cup of sugar • You can mash in fresh mint • Or to make it stronger you can add a little Myers dark rum or any flavored white rum, do not add anymore than 2 cups • For a spicier drink you can chop Jicama (Mexican fruit)
