italian margarita
A nice variation of the Margarita. I had this for the first time at Macaroni Grill and this is my DIY version after many fun attempts.

Ingredients
- 1 ounce amaretto disaronno
- 1 1/2 ounces tequila reposado
- 1/2 ounce grand marnier or cointreau
- 1 ounce lime juice, freshly squeezed
How To Make italian margarita

Step 1Use the squeezed lime shell to moisten the rim of the glass, then dip into sugar to coat the rim.

Step 2Put all ingredients in a cocktail shaker with some ice and shake until frosty. Strain into the prepared glass.

Step 3You can also make this frozen but add a bit more Amaretto so the taste doesn't get diluted. Sometimes I use Amaretto to moisten the rim instead of lime.
