I love making cordials for gift giving, cooking and drinking as well. This takes a little over 2 months to ripen, so you need to plan ahead for those Christmas gifts.

Ingredients
- 3 pounds peaches, pitted and quartered
- 2 1/2 cups sugar
- 4 - strips lemon peel
- 4 - inches cinnamon stick
- 6 - whole cloves
- 1 quart bourbon
How To Make homemade peach cordial

Step 1In a gallon jar, combine peaches, sugar, lemon peel, and spices. Pour in bourbon; cover.

Step 2Invert jar daily until all the sugar is dissolved, about 4 days. Place in a cool, dark place for at least 2 months.

Step 3Strain through cheese cloth and bottle as desired.

Step 4Serve in liqueur glasses.
