Ingredients

  • 1 - 2 oz. jars instant coffee powder
  • 4 cups sugar
  • 1 tablespoon cocoa powder
  • 1 bottle 151 rum
  • 1 - vanilla bean, sliced in 1/2 lengthwise

How To Make homemade kahlua (rum & coffee liqueur)

  • Step 1
    Boil 2 C water, instant coffee, cocoa powder & sugar in a saucepan & stir until dissolved. Remove from heat & add rum & vanilla bean.
  • Step 2
    Transfer to an airtight jar & let sit in a dark place for 30 days.
